Creating and Editing Views

Views define a list of Universal Policies, UPA OUs, and AD OUs that can be viewed by users or groups. You can add, modify, and delete views.

To add a View:

  1. Log in to the Web Console as an Administrator and navigate to the Administrator tab.
  2. In the left pane, click Views.
  3. Click New.
  4. In the New View window, specify a name for the View.
  5. Click the Universal Policies tab and select one or more Universal Policies to include.
  6. Click the OUs tab and select one or more OUs to include (see Delegation OUs for creating more flexible virtual OUs).
  7. Click the AD OUs tab and select an AD OU.
  8. Click Save.
  9. (Optional) To edit a View, select the View and click Edit. Make the required changes and click Save.
  10. (Optional) To delete a Role, select the role and click Delete.
