Adding Delegation OUs

Delegation (UPA) OUs are virtual containers used to provide more flexibility in your delegation model.  Once you create a Delegation OU, you can add Universal Policies to that OU where users can only view and operate on those policies.

To add a Delegation OU:

  1. Log in to the Web Console as an Administrator and navigate to the Organization tab.
  2. In the left pane, click Delegation.
  3. In the right pane, click +New Delegation OU.
  4. Specify a name for the Delegation OU and click Create.
  5. To link Universal Policies, click UPs.
  6. Select the Universal Policy and click >Link.
  7. Click Save.
  8. In the Administration tab, go to Views/UPA OUs to delegate who can see these Delegation OUs.
